Natural Medicine

Naturopathy dates back to the “Father of Medicine” himself—Hippocrates of Ancient Greece. The nutritionist, physician and surgeon laid out 10 rules around 400 BC, which have been largely ignored by the medical professionals to this time.

HIPPOCRATES' 10 COMMANDMENTS

1. The natural way is the ONLY way.

2. Treat the cause of an illness, not the symptom. Note: Modern synthetic drugs just
mask the illness
, but never deal with the origin.

3.
Look to the spine for illness.

4.
Food is medicine and medicine is food.

5.  Most illness can be prevented with a healthy natural diet. Note: Most foods
Americans consume are processed, refined, overcooked, denatured, chemicalized, and grown in mineral depleted soil.

6.   A
HEALTHY COLON is essential.

7.   Do not administer anything dangerous or harmful! Note:
The FDA admits that dangerous drugs kill 50,000 to 350,000 people per year.

8.
Do no harm to your patients! Note: An average of 195,000 peoplein the U.S. dieddue to potentially preventable medical errors in each of the years 2000, 2001 and 2002, according to a 2004 study of 37 million patient records released by HealthGrades, the healthcare quality company.

9. Do not perform surgery for monetary gain. Note: The U.S. Government reports that 75% of surgeries in this country are unnecessary.

10. The word PROTEIN means “most important.” Note: Hippocrates named protein as the most essential food we should consume, as the greatest percentage of our bodies is comprised of it. Carbohydrates are secondary.
