7. Do not administer anything dangerous or harmful! Note: The FDA admits that dangerous drugs kill 50,000 to 350,000 people per year.
8. Do no harm to your patients! Note: An average of 195,000 peoplein the U.S. dieddue to potentially preventable medical errors in each of the years 2000, 2001 and 2002, according to a 2004 study of 37 million patient records released by HealthGrades, the healthcare quality company.
9. Do not perform surgery for monetary gain. Note: The U.S. Government reports that 75% of surgeries in this country are unnecessary.
10. The word PROTEIN means “most important.” Note: Hippocrates named protein as the most essential food we should consume, as the greatest percentage of our bodies is comprised of it. Carbohydrates are secondary.
